It's been wonderful to work with Mark. He has been an integral part of the success of several conferences, focusing on Social Media for Government, as well as Social Media for the private sector.

He brings to light the importance of getting your name and mission into the social spaces and how to do that effectively. This is such a critical lesson for everyone to learn and it's no wonder that we have him come back to share his expertise time and time again.

As you know, I have often struggled with exactly what you were trying to say, and more importantly to try and explain your efforts. As a non facebook, no twitter, non blogging, "old guy" at (still) under 40, at times it seemed you were speaking a foreign language! But I now get it, based on the planting seeds analogy and, in fact, used just that metaphor in a planning meeting at the telecom company I work for yesterday. You would have been so proud! I think they even bought into the argument that this is a space that is relatively inexpensive and effective in reaching out to our consumers, if done correctly.

Thanks for teaching little brother! Who would have thought there was something I could learn from you!

My colleagues and I at IATA want to thank Mark Goren for presenting his Planting Seeds concept and discussing social media in a nutshell at a Lunch and Session recently.
The content was insightful, interesting and inspiring to our inhouse marketing and creative teams - who appreciated Mark's ability to engage the room and explain new trends in a clear and friendly a manner.

In my opinion, all could benefit from a more in-depth workshop on how to put social media to work in the traditional B2B emarketing environment. I hope Mark will consider doing this in the near future!
